In this section we look compare through time in 3D all maturities. We display the yield on the 1 MO, 2 MO, 3 MO, 6 MO, 1 YR, 2 YR, 3 YR, 5 YR, 7 YR, 10 YR, 20 YR, 30 YR. We track these through time. Yield curve inversions have predictive power, we monitor these.
Here we discover some interesting and surprising features of the relationship between futures prices and spot prices in the Forex market. For example, does the spot price of a currency being higher or lower that the futures contracts have predictive power?
Here we compare spot to futures prices and determine the degree of contango (futures greater than spot) or backwardation (futures less than spot). This turns out to matter a lot for whether a commodity is in demand (or scarce) and thus if prices will rise or fall.
Here we explore the term structure of spot VIX to nine futures contracts. These represent nine months ahead. Would you like to know whether a risk is on the horizon or be alerted once identifies?
